Registered Nurse
Medical/Surgical Telemetry — Travel RN | Northport, AL
Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 14-Week Contract
This multi-specialty unit provides acute medical and surgical care to a diverse patient population. Nurses on this unit manage both medical patients — including those requiring dialysis and telemetry monitoring — and surgical patients recovering from orthopedic procedures (fractures, shoulder, and back surgeries) and general surgery cases (appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and colon resection).
The care model emphasizes pain management, mobility, and prevention of complications, with a strong commitment to patient-centered outcomes. A Team Leader supports the unit staff and is not included in the staffing count.
