Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Laconia, NH
This telemetry unit manages cardiac and neurological patients requiring continuous monitoring, including administration of drip medications such as Cardizem, insulin (hyperglycemia management), and Phenobarbital. The role demands strong rhythm interpretation skills and comfort with advanced telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3 shifts/week)
- Every-other-weekend commitment expected
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks | Anticipated start: September 14, 2026
Requirements
- Advanced Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in telemetry or a related specialty
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Specialty-specific skills checklist required
- 2 recent Charge RN or Manager RN references (telemetry specialty)
- Up-to-date resume documenting relevant clinical and travel experience
Additional Details
- First-time travelers with strong telemetry backgrounds will be considered
- Float to a nearby sister facility may be required
- Locals (within 50 miles) are welcome to apply
- Drip experience with Cardizem and insulin (hyperglycemia, not DKA) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Phenobarbital in a telemetry setting is a plus
- Electronic charting experience preferred but not required
