Registered Nurse

ICU Travel Nurse — Night Shift | Langhorne, PA | 13-Week Contract

This position is in a community hospital ICU managing high-acuity adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients. The unit serves as the highest level of inpatient care, handling a broad range of critical diagnoses including CVA/acute stroke, traumatic brain injury, respiratory failure, multisystem organ dysfunction, cardiac events, and post-surgical recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within the same level of care if census requires

Required Qualifications

• Pennsylvania or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; community hospital experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Clinical Skills

Strong candidates will have experience with:

• Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Arterial line, central line, and pulmonary artery line management
• Vasoactive and cardiac drip titration
• CVVHD/CRRT, IV insulin protocols, and massive transfusion protocol
• ICP monitoring, EVD care, and post-craniotomy/neurosurgery management
• IABP, Impella, and ventricular assist device management
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs

Additional Details

• 13-week contract, 24-hour orientation
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
