Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Austin, TX | 13-Week Contract
This fast-paced Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift contract. The unit manages a broad range of acuity levels and clinical presentations, with a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Weekends rotate (4 shifts per schedule)
- No on-call requirements
Required Certifications
- BLS and ACLS
- TNCC (required by start date)
- ENPC (required by start date)
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of emergency department experience
Clinical Scope
The ED team performs a wide variety of procedures, including:
- Lumbar punctures
- Intubations
- TNK administration
- Laceration repair and suture removal
- Splinting

Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs
