Cardiac Med/Tele RN – Night Shift
The Opportunity
The facility's Cardiac Med/Tele unit is seeking an RN for a 16-week night contract. You'll care for acute cardiac and telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment alongside an experienced clinical team.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7 PM–7 AM
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Weekends: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
- Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years of U.S. work experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred
- 2 years recent med/surg or telemetry experience
What to Expect
You'll be part of a responsive team managing cardiac patients across various acuity levels. You may be asked to float to other units and will be expected to work charge nurse duties (training provided). Flexibility with scheduling is essential, and block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed.
