Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care across multiple settings. You'll help individuals of all ages improve, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Teach therapeutic activities that foster independence and enhance well-being
- Recommend and facilitate use of assistive devices
- Adapt environments to ensure safety and accessibility
- Educate patients and families to support their goals and independence
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- 8-hour days
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience (required)
- Valid Texas or compact state OT license (required)
- References not required at time of submission
