CT Technologist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Medical Imaging Department is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work nights in a high-acuity imaging environment serving trauma and emergency patients.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (Saturday–Monday)
- 36 hours/week plus 3–5 on-call shifts per month
- Every weekend required
- Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
Clinical Environment
You'll support two CT units performing advanced imaging for a trauma patient population, including coronary screenings for chest pain patients and bariatric imaging. The department is staffed by board-certified radiologists and registered, certified technologists across all imaging modalities, and holds American College of Radiology accreditation in CT, mammography, nuclear medicine, MRI, and ultrasound.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ months of current CT experience (mandatory)
- Recent trauma facility experience required (within 6 months; 1 year preferred)
- ARRT (CT) certification
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
- Venipuncture Certificate
- BLS (AHA) – current at time of submission
- Proficiency with multiple CT scanner platforms
- CT Skills Checklist completed within the past year
- Supervisory reference from past year of employment
Additional Requirements
- Must reside 30+ miles from the facility location
- All certifications must be current at time of hire
- Relocation or travel arrangement required
