Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry | Richmond, KY

13-Week Contract | Days | Start Date: September 21, 2026

This telemetry/med-surg unit provides care for complex adult patients, including those with CHF, stroke, ESRD, and post-operative needs. Patients are admitted from the ICU, ED, and PACU, making for a dynamic, higher-acuity environment within the med-surg setting.

Shift Details

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Clinical Responsibilities

• Continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring, dysrhythmia identification, and timely intervention
• Administration of medications and treatments, including cardiac drips as applicable
• Pre- and post-operative care, including wound care and pain management
• Care coordination for patients with chronic and acute conditions (cardiac, respiratory, diabetes)
• Collaboration with physicians, cardiologists, case managers, and the interdisciplinary team
• Patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Required Credentials

• Active RN license (state or applicable compact)
• BLS required at start
• ACLS, NIHSS, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required within 6 months (sooner is preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Strong telemetry/EKG interpretation skills
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted
