Cardiac Catheterization Lab – RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiac catheterization lab. You'll support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, clinically dynamic environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 5 days per week
• 12-week contract
• Call requirement: 1 weekend per month + 1–2 weekdays per week
• Floating within scope of practice and to nearby facilities as needed
• Maximum 7 days time off per contract
• Holiday work expected per facility policy

Clinical Scope

You'll assist with a full range of cardiac interventions, including:

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and stent placement
• IABP placement and removal
• Impella insertion
• IVC filter placement
• Temporary pacemaker insertion
• Thrombolysis and thrombectomy procedures
• EKG interpretation and lead placement
• Monitoring of adult and geriatric patients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years cardiac cath lab or related experience (travel experience required)
• Community hospital experience required
• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS certifications
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation skills
• Ability to maintain sterile field and function as scrub or circulator
