OR Tech – Cath Lab
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR Tech to join its expanding Cath Lab. You'll scrub and support a skilled team including a Cath Lab RN and Cath Lab Tech as the lab expands from four to five procedure rooms.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No float required; no call
Clinical Focus
You'll work with adult cardiology and structural cardiology cases, including:
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Cardiac stent placement
- Cardiac implant closure devices
- IABP placement and removal
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Cath Lab experience (experienced travelers only; first-time travelers not accepted)
- Active West Virginia or Compact License
- ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Demonstrated skills: sterile technique, equipment setup, dysrhythmia recognition, room circulation
- Two manager or charge nurse references within the past 2 years

- Orientation held every other Thursday

Charleston, WV. Candidates must reside within 100 miles of the facility (75–99 miles considered on a case-by-case basis).
