Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver age-specific, direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. You'll utilize the Nursing Process within established nursing standards and assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to team members.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts
- Days/varied schedule
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across the ED patient population
- Apply the Nursing Process and specialty-specific standards of care
- Delegate tasks effectively and support team coordination
- Maintain compliance with all State and Federal healthcare regulations and facility policies
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Current RN license
- ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation training required
- Certifications must be active at start date; if any expire during the contract, a renewal plan must be in place
