Radiology Technologist

Radiation Therapist — Travel Contract | Laguna Hills, CA

This 13-week contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Radiation Therapist ready to join a structured outpatient/oncology radiation therapy department in Southern California.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Float within the facility based on census needs
• Pre-approved time off must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO requests will be accepted after submission

Clinical Scope

You will administer external beam radiation therapy and other radiation treatments to a patient population spanning adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include:

• CT simulation and treatment site simulation
• IMRT and external beam therapy delivery
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging and tumor localization
• Dose calculation and use of compensation filters and wedges
• HDR brachytherapy procedures
• Adherence to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary oncology team

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Current California CRT license (in hand at time of submission)
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy)
• BLS/BCLS

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Proficiency with linear accelerator operation, CT simulation, and treatment planning systems

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• 1 professional reference required (within the past 2 years)
• 4-hour orientation module completed pre-start (non-billable)
