ICU Travel RN — Night Shift | Concord, NH
Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 12-hour nights, 7 PM – 7 AM (3x/week) | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Unit Overview
This ICU position involves high-acuity critical care, including management of complex cardiac, neurological, and hemodynamically unstable patients. Candidates with cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) background are strongly encouraged to highlight that experience.
Clinical Skills & Equipment
Candidates should have hands-on experience with:
- Intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
- Impella device management
- Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
- Targeted temperature management (TTM/Arctic Sun)
- Rapid infusers and IV pump management
Float Expectations
This role includes floating to the ED (active patients, not only ICU holds), stepdown, and med/surg with a modified assignment. Floating to Behavioral Health may also be required — candidates must be comfortable with this scope. Float coverage may extend to nearby affiliated campuses.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, PALS, CCRN
- Strong ability to work independently and adapt quickly across care settings
