Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll support a high-volume interventional cardiology program performing peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: Days, 4×9-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• Start Time: 0645
• No call required
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Orientation: September 21 or 28

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 24 months current Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• At least one completed travel contract within the past 12 months
• ARRT or RCIS certification (required; documentation needed)
• Active Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred; non-licensed candidates may apply at acceptance)
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and peripheral/coronary angiography
• Comfort with PCI and pacemaker cases

Preferred Experience

• Impella system experience
• ACIST Injector, iFR, and IVUS familiarity

Clinical Scope

You'll manage approximately 4 procedures per day using advanced interventional equipment. The role focuses on technical excellence in supporting complex cardiac procedures.

Candidate Notes

• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Hospital-provided light blue scrubs
• Summer holiday coverage (1–2 of 3 holidays) required
