Respiratory Therapist – Float Position

Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Cleveland, OH – Multiple facility locations

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a full-time float Respiratory Therapist to support multiple locations. You will be notified 2–4 hours prior to each shift of your assigned location, allowing flexibility across the health system.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Active Ohio RRT license, NBRC certification, and BLS — all required in hand at time of submission
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as an RRT (CRT also accepted)
• Availability: Weekends and float assignments as needed
• Compliance:
• Nicotine-free (smoke-free facility — no exceptions)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine test required within 12 months of start
• Background check; no license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprints within 48 hours of contract signature

What to Provide at Submission

• Complete work history, including any previous assignments at the facility
• Two professional references (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from assignments within the past 12 months
• All requested time off and scheduling needs communicated upfront

Contract Terms

• Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter
• Annual competency training as required
