Pharmacy Technician | Independence, MO | 26-Week Contract

This travel Pharmacy Technician opportunity is based in Independence, MO, within a decentralized pharmacy model. The department operates with a well-staffed technician team across multiple shifts, providing strong day-to-day support.

Schedule

• Shift: 07:30–16:00, with a combination of day and evening shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No overnight shifts
• 40 hours per week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Refilling automated dispensing cabinets and preparing first doses
• IV sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding
• Packaging unit dose medications
• Refilling code blue trays
• Answering phones and supporting pharmacists with daily workflow

Requirements

• Current, active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing — required prior to submission
• Familiarity with automated dispensing systems, remote order verification platforms, and pharmacy information systems is a plus
• Clean scrubs required
