About the Unit

You'll join a fast-paced emergency department managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. The unit handles high-volume patient flow, including cardiac monitoring, acute stabilization, and time-sensitive interventions. You'll work as part of a collaborative team and be expected to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Perform IV starts and phlebotomy
  • Initiate and interpret cardiac monitoring
  • Manage acute patient care in a high-pressure environment
  • Work flexibly across multiple patient assignments during peak volume

What We're Looking For

  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
  • Essential Skills: Adaptability, strong teamwork, composure under pressure
  • Preferred: Prior high-acuity or emergency medical experience (RN, paramedic, or technician background)
  • Personality: Outgoing, positive, and thrives in dynamic settings

  • Patient Ratios: 4:1 (typically 3 rooms plus 1 hall bed during high volume)
