Emergency Department – Night Shift Nursing
Position Overview
Join a busy Emergency Department as an RN on the night shift (19:00–07:00). This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 48-hour weekly schedules.
About the Role
You'll be part of a dynamic ED team delivering acute care to a diverse patient population. Your responsibilities include IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring and interpretation, and rapid patient assessment in a high-volume environment. You'll work alongside experienced nurses, paramedics, and support staff in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license with BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications
- Strong adaptability and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
- Experience in high-acuity or high-volume settings preferred
Working Conditions
- Night shift: 19:00–07:00 (four 12-hour shifts per week)
- Patient assignments: typically 3 rooms + 1 hall bed in high-volume periods
- Dress code: Gray scrub top with black or gray bottoms
