Pediatric Float ICU RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for a pediatric float ICU role. You will work day shifts across multiple intensive care units, providing specialized care to critically ill children and infants.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Days per week: 3 days (every other weekend required)
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Contract duration: 89 weeks
• Start date: September 14, 2026

Clinical Scope

You'll float between two campuses, providing care across:

• PICU (Pediatric ICU)
• NICU (Neonatal ICU)
• TDICU (Thoracic-Diastolic ICU)
• CICU (Cardiac ICU)
• General pediatric and specialty care areas as needed

Patient ratios are 2–3:1.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience
• Active Georgia or compact state RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Ability to float between two campuses

Facility Policies

• Nicotine-free facility; drug screening required upon hire
• Flu vaccine is mandatory; no exemptions permitted
• Must make up any missed shifts
• Electronic health record experience preferred
