Nephrology Travel Position

Position Overview

Join the facility's nephrology team as a travel clinician. You'll provide direct patient care and contribute your clinical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to expand your experience across multiple locations within the same discipline.

Schedule & Duration

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4 days per week (9-hour shifts)
• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Orientation: Every Monday
• No weekends | No on-call requirements
• Summer holidays: You may be required to work 1–2 of the 3 major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Patient Population & Scope

You'll work with kidney transplant patients in a nephrology setting. Float assignments within the same discipline across local campuses may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nephrology experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Valid Iowa state license
• Current BLS certification
• Not employed by UnityPoint in the past 12 months

Submission Requirements

• Current driver's license
• Work history and resume
• Skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
• License verification
• 1 supervisory reference
• Minimum 50-mile distance from facility (based on driver's license)
