Physical Therapist Assignment
Location & Schedule
Lufkin and Livingston, Texas | Flexible hours between 7:30 AM–6:00 PM | Options: 4×10-hour or 5×8-hour shifts | Possible weekend coverage arranged in advance | 40 guaranteed hours per week
About the Role
You'll join a dynamic PT team providing acute and inpatient rehabilitation care. Your work will focus primarily (90%) on inpatient rehab, with occasional coverage of orthopedic and med-surgical floors.
Clinical Scope
- Treat 4 patients per 8-hour shift within the inpatient rehab unit
- Manage mid-level critical care and acute care patients
- Complete documentation and meet 22 units per 8-hour day
- Work alongside a collaborative team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs
Assignment Timeline
- November 16 – December 13, 2026: Lufkin (6-person PT team; potential weekend shifts)
- December 14, 2026 – January 9, 2027: Livingston (you'll be the primary scheduled PT)
Requirements
- Current state PT license
- BLS Certification
- Experienced clinician; efficiency and independence required
- Willingness to treat in inpatient rehab setting
Contract Details
- 70 weeks total
- Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts if shorter)
