Cardiac Operating Room RN – CVOR

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's cardiac operating room performs a wide range of open-heart and vascular procedures in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll work as part of a skilled surgical team providing direct patient care during complex cases.
Typical Procedures
- CABG and valve replacements
- Carotid endarterectomy
- ECMO cannulation and management
- Angiogram, fistulagram, and fistula creation
- Lower extremity bypass grafting
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated open-heart and vascular surgery experience
- Operating room experience (required)
- Ability to function independently in a high-acuity setting
What to Expect
- Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Staffing: Day shift team of 4 RNs and 4 surgical technicians
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Call: Approximately 4–5 days per month; 1 weekend per month
- Float: To main OR as needed
- Attire: Scrubs provided by the facility
