Registered Nurse

Employee Health RN — Vacaville, CA

13-Week Contract | Days | Mon–Fri

This Employee Health RN role is primarily focused on supporting seasonal flu clinics and respiratory fit testing, with secondary support for broader occupational health functions.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, clinic hours typically 0700–1800; occasional early starts as early as 0400
• Average 24 hours per week during flu clinic season; shifts range from 4–6 hours to 8-hour blocks
• No weekends

Clinical Scope

• Administer immunizations and conduct respiratory fit testing clinics
• Support new hire medical clearance reviews, health screenings, and immunization documentation
• Assist with workplace injury and exposure incident management (bloodborne pathogen, infectious disease)
• Coordinate workers' compensation case management, injury documentation, and return-to-work processes
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and organizational health policies
• Participate in wellness initiatives and health promotion programs for staff

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted California RN license in good standing
• BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• 1+ year of employee/occupational health nursing preferred
• 1+ year of case management experience preferred
• COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) certification preferred
• Familiarity with workers' compensation regulations and claims management strongly preferred
• Proficiency with clinical documentation; on-the-job training provided for facility-specific software
