Registered Nurse

Outpatient Infusion RN | Oncology & Infusion | Glens Falls, NY

This 13-week contract places you in a dedicated outpatient infusion center focused on delivering high-quality IV therapy across a broad range of conditions and specialty medications. The unit serves patients requiring ongoing infusions in a comfortable, clinic-based environment managed by experienced infusion-specialty RNs.

Shift: Days, 8 hours — shift start times vary between 8:00 AM–9:00 AM (end times 4:00–5:00 PM)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: September 17, 2026

Clinical Scope:

• IV antibiotics, antifungals, steroids, IVIG, iron infusions, hydration, and IV/IM vitamins
• Blood and blood product transfusions
• PICC line placement and central venous access device maintenance
• Therapeutic phlebotomy
• Specialty biologics for Crohn's, RA, psoriatic arthritis, MS, ALS, asthma, and anemia management
• Patient teaching for self-administered medications

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of current outpatient oncology/infusion RN experience
• Chemotherapy Certification (ONS) — required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) — required
• Peripheral IV insertion experience — required
• Port, fistula, and catheter experience — required
• Active New York RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) — required
• De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) — required prior to start
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred:

• IV Certification
• BSN
• Prior travel nursing experience

Additional Details:

• Scrubs: Any solid color; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• No call required
• Requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; no more than 5 days RTO accepted
