ICU RN – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment. You'll join the ICU team providing high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 11, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU experience
• Active Ohio license or active compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active and in hand)
• NIHSS certification required
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in critical care (from past 12 months; no co-worker references)
• Nicotine-free status (nurses and CSTs are exempt)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (updated annually)
• BCI/FBI background check (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)

Onboarding

You'll complete pre-start orientation modules (average 6–15 hours) and pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during onboarding (2 attempts maximum). Annual hands-on competency may apply if you extend beyond one year.

Additional Notes

• No license hits accepted
• Background check hits reviewed on a case-by-case basis; open cases not accepted

This is a straightforward, clinically focused assignment in a supportive ICU setting.
