Labor and Delivery Nurse – Night Shift
About the Role
The facility's Labor and Delivery unit cares for patients at 32 weeks gestation and beyond. You'll work nights (7pm–7am) providing comprehensive obstetric nursing across the full scope of labor, delivery, and recovery.
Your Responsibilities
- incoming obstetric patients
- Circulate during cesarean sections
- Collaborate with physicians and midwives to manage labor and vaginal deliveries
- Provide post-delivery recovery care for both vaginal and cesarean patients
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Nights, 7pm–7am
- Days: Weekdays plus every other weekend and holidays
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
Requirements
- RN license
- NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- 5+ years of L&D experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
