Vascular Technologist – Vascular Lab
Position Overview
The facility's vascular lab is seeking a Vascular Technologist to join a dynamic team performing diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting patients with vascular disease and other circulatory conditions.
Schedule
- Days: Wednesday – Saturday
- Hours: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 hours weekly
- Contract Duration: 110 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound and diagnostic testing
- Assist with interventional vascular procedures
- Maintain and calibrate vascular lab equipment
- Document patient data accurately and maintain lab records
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in vascular technology
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
- AHA BLS certification
Holiday Requirements
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
- Must work 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
What We're Looking For
A detail-oriented vascular tech with strong technical skills, excellent patient communication, and the ability to thrive in a busy lab setting. Recent, relevant experience in vascular specialty is essential.
