Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for a 26-week contract assignment in a med-surg telemetry role. This is a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend and holiday coverage required.

Unit & Responsibilities

You'll work across multiple med-surg floors in a float capacity, rotating through ortho, med-surg, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg tele units. You'll also float to a satellite campus location approximately 9.5 miles away. This role offers broad exposure to diverse patient populations and acuities across the med-surg spectrum.

Schedule & Staffing

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Float flexibility across multiple units required
• 24-hour notice-before-onboarding requirement may be waived for candidates with immediate availability

Qualifications

• Active RN license (verification required)
• Ability to float across multiple specialties
• Willingness to work rotating schedules including weekends and holidays

Onboarding Requirements

Standard credentialing applies, including health screening (vaccines: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap), fit test, drug screening, background check, education verification, skills checklist, and required compliance training and documentation.
