Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts on its medical-surgical telemetry unit. This is a 26-week contract role offering the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations across multiple specialty floors.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday off
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Start Date: August 27, 2026

Responsibilities

You will float across multiple med-surg floors, including:

• Orthopedics
• Medical-Surgical units
• Neurology Step Down
• Oncology
• Surgical Telemetry
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Float assignments may also include the West Lakes Campus location (9.5 miles from downtown).

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Current immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
• Tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Physical/health statement
• Background check, drug screening, and credentialing verification
• Specialty-specific competency testing upon onboarding
