Travel Respiratory Therapist — Greenville, SC

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift contract in Greenville, SC. This position supports a high-acuity adult and geriatric respiratory services department covering all adult respiratory modalities.

Shift Details

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (subject to change as needed)
• Start date: September 21, 2026

Clinical Scope

This role encompasses the full spectrum of adult respiratory care, including:

• Mechanical ventilation management, weaning, and troubleshooting
• Extubation, tracheostomy care, nasal and oral airway placement
• BiPAP/CPAP therapy and high-flow nasal cannula
• Aerosol medication delivery via mask, trach collar, MDI, Medihaler, handheld, and T-piece nebulizers
• Medication administration including albuterol, racemic epinephrine, pulmicort, tobramycin, xopenex, and additional inhaled agents
• Pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and ABG interpretation
• Patient transport support and participation with rapid response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT license in South Carolina (must be in hand — no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in adult critical care respiratory therapy
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• High-acuity trauma-level experience required
• Charting system proficiency: minimum 1 year of experience required

Additional Details

• Float requirement: May float to other qualified units or campuses based on census needs
• The facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Orientation: 36 hours; begins on Mondays
• First-time travelers welcome
