Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist

Position Overview

The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced technologist to join a high-volume team performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You'll support physicians in a fast-paced environment managing a diverse range of complex cases.

Schedule & Contract

  • Shift: 12-hour days, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
  • Contract: 110 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Holiday Commitment: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Key Responsibilities

You will assist with all procedures including:

  • Left and right heart catheterization
  • High-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
  • Pacemaker and peripheral procedures
  • Structural heart procedures
  • EMCO and EKOS interventions

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years interventional or diagnostic cardiology experience with hands-on cath lab exposure
  • Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited CVT or radiology technology program
  • Current BLS certification
  • AART or RCIS certification

A detail-oriented, collaborative technologist with strong procedural knowledge and the ability to function effectively in a high-acuity environment. Prior experience with complex interventional cases is essential.
