Labor & Delivery RN – 13-Week Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment. This is a charge nurse role—charge experience is required and you must be willing to take charge.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per month
• No call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Unit Details

You'll work in a busy L&D unit managing laboring patients and supporting cesarean deliveries. The unit provides strong staffing support with a unit tech on every shift and unit secretary coverage during day shift.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years L&D experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications
• Charge nurse experience and willingness to assume charge duties

Preferred Qualifications

• RNC certification

Clinical Scope

You'll circulate cesarean sections and manage the full spectrum of labor and delivery care. Float assignments as needed.

Dress Code

Scrubs provided. Maintain clean, neat appearance; no extreme hair styles or colors. Tattoos should be covered when possible. Visible piercings (other than ears) are not permitted.
