Operating Room Surgical Nurse

Location: Asheville, NC

Shift: 20:45–07:15 (nights)

Contract: 91 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role

You'll work in a high-volume operating room providing surgical nursing care across multiple specialty services. This role requires demonstrated expertise in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures—skill level 3 or higher is essential.

Clinical Scope

The facility operates one of the region's busiest surgical programs, performing cases in:

• General surgery
• Gynecology
• Robotic surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedic surgery
• Plastic surgery
• Urology
• Burn and trauma

You'll support both open and minimally invasive procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Skill level 3+ in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular (mandatory)
• Broad surgical knowledge with hands-on experience across designated service lines
• Flexible scheduling with call availability
• Willingness to float to other departments as needed
• Current RN license in North Carolina

Schedule

Variable assignment with on-call requirements. Scrubs provided by the facility.
