Labor & Delivery RN – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join the OB unit on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. You'll provide comprehensive care to pregnant patients from admission through discharge, with particular expertise in high-risk obstetrics.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating day/night shifts: 2 days + 1 night per week
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 5, 2026
Clinical Scope
You will manage a diverse patient population, including:
- High-risk pregnancy cases (preterm labor, hypertension, gestational diabetes)
- VBAC candidates and labor support
- Prenatal testing and amniocentesis procedures
- Fetal monitoring and labor progression assessment
- Childbirth education facilitation
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience
- Advanced fetal monitoring competency
- Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications
- Active RN license (New Hampshire)
- Labor & Delivery skills validation within the past 12 months
- Supervisory reference from current/recent employer
Candidate Profile
- Relocation required: must reside 50+ miles outside the local area
- Previous travel assignment experience highly preferred
- Able to commit to a 5-day maximum RTO window
