Cardiac Cath Lab – Contract Position
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role
Join the cardiac catheterization lab team at the facility. This is a fast-paced interventional cardiology environment where you'll support a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a 3-room lab.
Typical Procedures
- Left and right heart catheterizations
- Pacemaker and ICD implantations
- Watchman procedures
- Interventional vascular procedures
- Electrophysiology ablations (PFA)
Team & Staffing
The day shift operates with 1 supervisor, 3 RNs, and 2 cath lab technicians. Patient care follows a team model with 3 clinical staff per procedure. You'll float between pre- and post-procedure departments as needed.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Electrophysiology experience (preferred)
- Comfort with sedation protocols, universal precautions, and procedural timeouts
Schedule & Expectations
- One full weekend plus 2 weekdays per four-week cycle (10 shifts total)
- Hospital-provided scrubs (sky blue)
- Team player mentality and flexibility essential
