MRI Technologist – Mobile Unit

Position Overview

Join a newly established mobile MRI unit launching in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fresh clinical setup while providing essential imaging services in a growing neuroscience program.

Schedule & Location

2 shifts per week | 24 hours weekly
12-hour shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
No floating to other departments
Morgantown, WV

Clinical Scope

You'll perform a full range of MRI studies, including brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and musculoskeletal imaging. The unit averages approximately 14 scans per day. You'll work closely with in-house radiologists and be responsible for physician communication and independent technologist duties. IV starts are part of the role.

Requirements

ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification + current West Virginia MRI license
BLS (AHA) certification
Comfortable working as the primary technologist with strong communication skills
Willingness to support unit setup prior to the official January 18 opening

Staffing & Support

You'll work within a team model supported by a Radiology Supervisor. A Lead Technologist is available for guidance.
