Respiratory Therapist – NICU/PICU

Shift & Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

13-week contract

Every other Sunday required; additional weekend coverage expected

RTO requests (max 5 days) must be submitted at time of application

About the Role

You'll provide specialized respiratory care to neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adolescents in the NICU and PICU. You'll manage a range of ventilators and respiratory support equipment, including high-flow systems, non-invasive ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and airway clearance techniques (IPV, vest, cough assist).

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in NICU/PICU respiratory therapy
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Valid Ohio state license (single or multi-state compact)
• Supervisor reference from within the past 2 years
• Clean background (no previous license hits)

Key Details

• You'll float within the facility and may be assigned to different campuses
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with IV teams, physical therapy, pharmacy, social services, and others
• 36-hour orientation included
• Additional background check and fingerprinting required on first day
