OR Circulator | Windsor, VT | 13-Week Contract

This surgical services role is an excellent fit for an experienced OR nurse comfortable working in a smaller, community-based operating environment. The position functions in both circulating and scrubbing capacities across multiple service lines, including general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy. The patient population is adult and geriatric, ages 16 and older, with a focus primarily on outpatient procedures and limited inpatient volume.

Schedule & Contract Details

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, four 8-hour days per week
Guaranteed hours: 32/week
Contract duration: 13 weeks | Start: September 28, 2026
On-call: 2–3 weekday call shifts per week; 1 weekend/month; 1-hour call-back requirement
Scrubs: Provided by the facility

Requirements

Cataract experience: required and non-negotiable
2–5 years of surgical nursing experience
Proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating (both specialty skill checklists must be on file)
Phase I/PACU experience required
Multiple surgical specialty experience required
Experience in a smaller OR setting required
BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
Vermont RN license required
BSN preferred; travel experience highly preferred

Important Logistics

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
Personal vehicle required — the area has no public transportation
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO will be considered
Availability to work designated holiday blocks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) is required
