Position Overview
The facility's NICU is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract. You'll join a dedicated night shift team (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) providing specialized care to neonates across acuity levels.
Unit Details
This is a Level II–III NICU managing a range of patient populations, from stable infants to those requiring advanced respiratory support and post-surgical care. You'll work with equipment including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, conventional ventilators, CPAP, NIPPV, and central lines. Typical procedures include respiratory support, neonatal surgery (excluding cardiac and neurosurgery), and micropreemie care.
Requirements
- Current BLS and NRP certifications (required)
- Level II–III NICU experience (minimum; Level III–IV preferred)
- Strong teamwork orientation in a collaborative environment
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekends: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule
- On-call: None
- Float area: Nursery
