Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
A NICU unit in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with a start date of September 14, 2026.
Unit Overview
This Level III NICU cares for critically ill and premature neonates requiring advanced respiratory support. Nurses on this unit must be prepared to attend deliveries, including C-sections, and provide high-acuity neonatal care using non-invasive respiratory therapies.
Schedule & Hours
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed hours: 36/week
- Self-scheduling; float as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Ability to attend all deliveries, including C-sections
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong team collaboration skills
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Royal blue and/or white
- No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
- Hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Visible piercings limited to ears only
- Tattoos covered whenever possible
This is a hands-on, high-acuity neonatal position suited for a confident, experienced NICU nurse ready to step in and contribute from day one.
