This 13-week contract places you in a Level III NICU, caring for critically ill neonates in a unit that manages high-acuity patients requiring advanced respiratory support. The team attends all deliveries, including C-sections, making experience across the full spectrum of neonatal care essential.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling with float as needed
Clinical Scope
- Level III NICU patient population
- Respiratory support modalities including BCPAP and high-flow nasal cannula
- Attendance at all deliveries, including C-sections
- High-acuity neonatal care
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Royal blue and/or white
- No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
- Hair pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
- Visible piercings limited to ears only
- Body art covered whenever possible
