Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Cypress, TX
This 13-week contract opportunity is in an active Emergency Department in Cypress, TX. The position is night shift (19:00–07:00), with 36 guaranteed hours per week and rotating weekend coverage. No on-call required.
The Role
You'll work as a bedside RN in a fast-paced ED environment managing a range of acuity levels. The unit sees a diverse patient population requiring rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization. Common procedures include tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care.
Shift Structure
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
- Weekends: Rotating
- On-Call: None
- Float: None
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Active RN license (Texas or compact)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC
