Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN

Shift: Day, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

The Role

The facility's cardiovascular operating room is seeking an experienced RN to scrub open heart and vascular cases, including complex wired vascular procedures. You'll work alongside a skilled surgical team in a fast-paced environment that values precision and clinical excellence.

Requirements

• 18 months of permanent CVOR experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Active Ohio nursing license (permanent or compact) at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in CVOR (within the past 12 months; peer references are not accepted)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions honored)

Call & Weekend Expectations

• 1–2 weekday call shifts per week (end of shift through 7:00 AM)
• 1 weekend call rotation per 6 weeks (24 hours Saturday + 24 hours Sunday)
• 1 working shift (Saturday or Sunday) per 6 weeks, typically coordinated with weekend call
• Holiday call rotation as needed

Onboarding

You'll complete pre-start modules and orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing. The facility requires a background check and drug screen (nicotine-free not required for nursing staff).
