Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
Join a high-volume perinatal service delivering 500+ babies per month. You'll provide direct care across labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum monitoring, and the women's emergency department (serving patients 16 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum).
This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with 24-hour in-house obstetric, anesthesia, and NICU coverage. You'll work alongside an academic teaching service and established private OB practices, with access to a dedicated perinatal transport program.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license (Texas)
- Minimum 3 years labor and delivery/perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery setting
- BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification (AAP)
- Advanced Life Support certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years perinatal clinical experience
- S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
