Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work a day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) in a high-volume perinatal service providing comprehensive obstetric and maternal care.
Clinical Setting
This is a busy maternal services unit managing labor, delivery, and postpartum care across multiple settings. You'll care for patients from 16 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum, including antepartum monitoring, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and postpartum recovery. The service includes in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia, and NICU support. A perinatal transport program is also available.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license (Texas)
- Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery setting
- BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification (AAP)
- Advanced Life Support certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
- S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
