Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Breast Imaging Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in a dedicated breast imaging center. This is a Monday–Friday day shift role with no float requirements and no on-call obligations.
Shift & Schedule
- 8-hour day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- 13-week contract duration
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Mammography (MA) certification
- ARRT/ARDMS breast ultrasound or breast sonography certification
- BLS-AHA certification
- 3–5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience at an imaging center
- 1 year of experience with McKesson PACS
Clinical Scope
You'll perform screening and diagnostic mammography, mammogram-guided procedures, stereotactic biopsies (upright and prone), and breast ultrasound. Experience with upright stereotactic and prone table biopsies is strongly preferred.
Work Environment
This is a fast-paced imaging center where you'll manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy. You'll collaborate with supervisory staff as needed and work independently with strong organizational skills.
