Position Details

  • Location: Sweetwater, TX
  • Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed per week
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: September 14, 2026

About the Role

You'll develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities for residents. Your work will reduce aspiration risk and enhance quality of life through individualized care. You'll lead speech language pathology and audiology service delivery in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement treatment plans addressing swallowing, cognition, and communication disorders
  • Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Design communication strategies that help residents be better understood and improve their understanding of others
  • Direct delivery of services aligned with facility policies and best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of SLP clinical experience
  • Current Texas state license (required documentation)
