Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med-Surg Oncology nurse for a 13-week contract beginning August 26, 2026.

Shift & Scheduling

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday (EOH/EOW)

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care to oncology patients across the medical-surgical spectrum, supporting treatment protocols, symptom management, and patient education. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, monitoring for treatment side effects, wound care, and patient advocacy during a critical phase of treatment.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification required)
• Specialty-specific competency assessment and skills checklist completion
• All standard onboarding requirements: background check, education verification, vaccination records (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap), TB screening (PPD or IGRA), physical exam, and fit test
• Professional compliance documentation (Code of Conduct, OFAC, exclusion databases, system security agreements)
