Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical or Telemetry Nurse for night shift assignment in a gastrointestinal care unit. This is a 13-week contract role.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Days: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of Medical-Surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Strong gastrointestinal (GI) nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current Georgia or compact state RN license (must be in hand at start)

What You'll Do

You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit with a focus on GI patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
