Interventional Radiology Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) nurse for a 13-week contract at the Portsmouth, NH location. This is a day-shift role (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with on-call responsibilities.

About the Unit

You'll work in a 2-suite IR department performing a wide range of minimally invasive procedures. The team consists of 4 IR nurses and 4 IR technicians. Patient flow averages approximately 10 patients per room. Common procedures include PICC line placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placement, ablations, ESI, EKOS for pulmonary embolism, and Trevo for stroke intervention.

Requirements

Current NH RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
ARRT certification
Demonstrated IR or Cath Lab experience
IR neuro experience is a plus

Schedule & Expectations

36 guaranteed hours per week
Day shift, Monday–Friday
On-call coverage: every 3rd or 4th weekend, plus one weeknight per rotation
Hospital-provided scrubs
